A few months back I had created a post about over editing. Since then I have had people ask me what type of editing I do.
I think what most don't realize is even with minimal editing, editing
itself can be time consuming. I have often had customers ask if they can
just have their pictures as is.
Although I never do lol, I always "want" to respond, "Did Picasso hand over his paintings before they were completed?"
Photography is an art.
Both behind the camera and on computer. Every photographer has their own camera settings and their own style of editing.
My goal in editing is to edit the least amount possible. To not alter
the picture all together but to "enhance" the picture and nothing more.
Here is a great example of what I would consider a simple edit but very
much needed to help a picture look better.
